Her brown hair bouncing behind her, she walked into the stables, her helmet in her hand. Her riding boots clicked on the hard cement floor as she walked towards her horse, Dancer's, stall. Stopping before it, she watched as the dark brown thoroughbred notice her, then neigh. Walking towards the door, the stallion neighed, and butted Angelique's hand. Rubbing between Dancer's ears, she looked at the stallion. He was dark, chocolate brown, with 4 white socks and a star on his forehead, and had been her parent's 8th birthday gift to her. Since Angelique got him, she had been showing and training with Dancer. Opening the door, she grabbed one of the lead ties hanging on the post and clipped it onto Dancer's halter. Leading the stallion out into the aisle, she quickly tied him to a crosstie, and went to gather her grooming supplies. When she came back, Dancer was already restless. Quickly, she walked towards the stallion and began the task of grooming him.
20 minutes later, the stallion's coat gleamed, and Massie sighed with satisfaction. Putting the grooming supplies back, she grabbed Dancer's tack and put it onto the stallion. Grabbing the reins, she lead the stallion out towards the trails, and stopped before one of the trails. Mounting the brown thoroughbred, she spurred the horse into a gallop.

[green]Nicholas walked through central park with the most unlikely accessory you would ever see him with-a child. He held the tiny six year olds hand, leading him toward his cousin's favorite part of Central Park, the horses. "Come on Ben, we are going to see Rudolph,"he said, almost pulling Ben's tiny hand. Ben jumped at the name of his pony, and ran through the trees ahead of Nick, already knowing the way.
The desired ice cream stall lay forgotten as Nick ran after him, remembering his aunt's warnings if Ben ever got lost."Like I ever wanted to babysit the twerp anyway,"he grumbled under his breath. He came to a sudden stop as he reached the stables, seeing another girl already there. He nodded approval to Ben, busy brushing his horse's hair with ease from practice. "Hey, Angelique,"he said to a girl riding her horse, looking regal and yet excited.[/green]

Angelique was riding in a full blown gallop when she saw Nick and a... was that a child? Up ahead. Slowing down, she made her way over to Nick. "Hey, what are you doing here?" she asked, smiling. "And is he yours?" she asked, indicating the little boy.

Nicholas frowned, raising his eyebrows. "Depends on what you mean by mine."he answered. Benjamin curiously came over, regarding the girl. "This is my cousin, Benjamin, I'm stuck with him for the day,"he said, ruffling the kid's hair. Benjamin, whatever his faults may be stuck his hand out politely, "very pleased to meet you, Miss Paquet," he said formally, smiling shyly at her.

Angelique smiled and got off her horse, holding the reins her her hand. "Pleased to meet you too, Benjamin." she said, shaking his tiny hand. "You cousin has better manners than you do," she said, teasing Nick.

Nicholas shook his head in mock sorrow. "Some day I might just get over that comment, but I doubt it,"he grinned mischievously. Ben ran back to his own pony, a real thoroughbred with snow white fur. Nicholas frowned as Ben pulled the pony over, putting himself in danger of being stepped on by the hooves. "What are you doing here?Is that your horse?" he asked, slightly intimidated by the giant creature. Horse riding had never been his forte.
