Angelique smiled. "That's pretty cool." she said, smiling. "Gotta go inside though," she said, "I got some stuff I gotta research." She walked into the library, leaving Massie and Kristin outside. She made her way over to the computers, and saw that it was completely deserted. Making her way over to the corner, she quickly snapped the cable in the server power cord and walked away, after making it look like an accident. She sat down at a computer, and turned it on.
She knew there was no way that Massie could check the magazine's site now wireless or no, the whole internet was down, and would stay down until they could get a new power cord for it, which would take weeks. As well as the fact that there really was no other building in the area which had an internet connection available for use. She opened up the search engine, and saw it come up dead. Frowning, she stood up and made her way over to the front desk.
"The internet's not working," she said, complaining to the librarian. The librarian went over to check, and when she saw the snapped power cord, she began grumbling. Apparently, this happened often, but was costly to fix, and they wouldn't be able to get a replacement until 3 months later. Somebody walked in just then, the door squeaking in complaint. From her vantage point, she could barely see Kristin and Massie, and they definitely couldn't of seen her snapping the cord.
The door slammed shut just then. If they had come in, or anyone else, in fact, she would of heard the obnoxiously loud door squeaking open. Seeing Lauren, she waved the other girl over. "What are you doing here?" she asked the other girl, puzzled.
